Went to this garage with my very fussy daughter for a car last week. I was dreading it, but have to say it was a very simple process. Geoff, the owner who sold her the car was extremely helpful and considerate, and a very nice guy.He also gave us a great price for a great car. She looked at the car on Tuesday, said she wanted it, and it was ready for her by Thursday. All round excellent service. Based on this experience, I would def recommend to anyone looking for a used car. This will be our first stop in future.Many thanks
Our 2008 BMW 1 series developed a serious engine problem involving the timing chain guide rail. I phoned affordable cars to see if they could help, since i didn't want to use a main dealer. It ended up being a major job to remove and replace the broken parts, but affordable cars carried out the job at an excellent price. The owner (Geoff) also provided us with a runabout while the car was being repaired. Great from start to finish. Will certainly use again!
Bought a clearance car from this garage. Garage owner said car had 10 months mot, I paid deposit realised after check that it only had 3 months mot existing on the car. Owner said as a gesture of goodwill he would pay the cost of mot when it was due assuring me car had been checked over. 5 weeks later car would not start due to a ford fiesta battery found to be on it. Contacted owner who told me the actual battery for the car was put on charge and forgot to put it back in car! Wheel bearing also went a week later which I could hear was done on the first roundabout after taking ownership of the car. Week after that problems with suspension system, track rod end. Took it back too dealer for repairs after he said the warranty may cover it but actually it never. 8 weeks after buying the car best part of 300 pounds out of pocket for repairs car gets finally mot at no cost to me. I take it to another garage after mot for check over and they find other repair work needs done and track rod end. I ask this garage if it would have past MOT given repairs identified. Answer was no.I am now reporting to trading standards and driving and vehicles stanbsard agency. Serious questions about owners sales practice, car inspection standard and overall quality of cars.
