A lovely eating place and go there quite regularly.The lunchtime sandwiches are brilliant value with side salad and their lovely wedges. They fill you up just right!Evening meals are wonderful and always served quickly and nice and hot. You can ask for small amendments to your chosen dish and they have no problem with that. Very helpful staff.On my last visit there was pizza and wine left over and without hesitation it was discretely packed away for us to take home.At times it can be very busy and you have to wait for a table but the second one becomes available it is cleaned and ready. We sometimes book a table, ensuring that there is no wait.I recommend this restaurant highly, I have never been disappointed, the food is delicious and the staff are brilliant.
Have been to this restaurant many times however today i was very disappointed. They had no jacket potatoes, so I ordered a tuna mayonnaise toastie. It came with cheese in, which I didn't ask for and the waiter said they always come with cheese which is not true. I asked them to change it ,which they did, but when it came back it was cold. hopefully it was a one off, and be nicer next time I come in,otherwise next time,will be my last.
Excellent food and prices, family friendly environment and good for groups. The service is kind of slow, but the food is worth the waiting
First time in Darlington, what a lovely meal. Spicy prawns and pizza.... The pizza beat me as it was so huge. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service.
