Total time waster, Dont return calls, Simple questions unanswered as always someone else dealing with it, I was suppose to view a commercial property and had scheduled a viewing around 3 weeks from end of previous tenants lease but the diary missed the call back then supposedly they didnt get back to me as the landlord had introduced them to a family friend who was going to take the unit anyway Common courtesy would of been a call to say this even though the unit was on Rightmove at the time of my chase up call. Would not deal with these if they were last agents in Darlington.
Good property rental company
Had a commercial let agreed with Sillars. As I hesitated at paying 350 plus VAT fee for a credit check(!?), they just agreed to let it to someone else. This is not normal practice. I should know. The main point however is their failure to disclose - in an obvious manner, their fees on their website. This is actually ILLEGAL. I wish I could find out if the landlord knows about this profit generating practice at his expense. Oh and surprise surprise - these guys are not members of the estate agents' association.We need a regulator!
