Have purchased a house through Val at the Darlington office. What a marvellous company and truly fantastic lady. Every step of the way Carvers have been honest, professional and supportive and to think sometimes Estate Agents have a bad name. Not the case at Carvers they set new standards of excellence, well done!
We are buying our first house through Nick Gordon Carver, through the Darlington branch and I am disgusted with service from one certain member of staff! She is so belittling and rude! And I for one will not be using this agent again!
Started off fine with two lovely staff helping us with the property we were buying then for some reason it got changed to someone else who is still using hiking the price tactic gazumping! One told us no more bids another said we could still bid as long as it was above asking price ! Got told by a few people that this person has a reputation for this sort of thing(one being another colleague!). Do not trust them and have swapped to a better estate agent and found our dream home and getting much better quality service.

I did my mortgage through them and they also talked me through the whole process of buying a house. I would recommend them to anyone, the staff were very helpful and made the whole process a lot less stressful!
