After many years of putting up with me telling them to keep my beyond-repair Baxi working (including late night and weekend call outs in all weathers) Im sure they were delighted when I decided to have my boiler replaced by them last month.The price estimate was accurate, the time estimate was accurate. The chap who came to do the job was polite and respectful (cheers Jack!) and even had the sense to decline my tea.I was extremely worried at one point to see a large chunk of brickwork missing from the outside kitchen wall and convinced myself Id be needing to get the builders in to sort that out, but I turned my back for half an hour and the hole was seamlessly patched with new (matching) bricks.The recommended Viessmann boiler is totally up to the job at hand and talks to my smart thermostat in a way my old one didnt meaning Im likely to save even more money in the long run. The guy from Clachers even hung around while I spoke to the thermostat manufacturer to sort out some wiring queries.All in all a very positive experience.
Clachers have been installing or servicing our central heating system for several years. We are not on mains water so its sometimes a bit tricky, and they manage the plumbing with professionalism, attention to detail and excellent service. I would highly recommend the company.
We can't speak highly enough of Clacher's workmanship, or professionalism, they work to a very high standard using top quality materials and they are extraordinarily tidy and limit any disruption to the tiniest amount. They have worked on our old house installing a boiler and new house replacing the heating system which is unbelievably efficient, and all the staff are very pleasant people to work with. Attention to detail was second to none throughout. Although no one is ever happy having to pay for new boiler, I was satisfied with the cost and having the assurance of a reputable company to contact should I have any issues later on.
Would recommend. Excellent workmanship - floors up recently to replace clogged pipe work and now heating works a dream. Had them to replace my 20yo boiler 2 years ago at a very competitive rate. Friendly service and very reliable. 5stars.
