I haven't actually stayed here yet, we went to a wedding fair recently and my daughter booked it immediately! We all loved the decor in the reception and bar areas which I'm told has just been refurbished and I must say they have done an amazing job. . Some of the rooms have been upgraded too with the rest on going. Hopefully by the time the wedding comes around it will be completed. All of the facilities look good too. We did have a bite to eat in the bar whilst there and i must say it was good.

Well Blackwell Grange Hotel ..... I would say it was a pleasure but I'll be lying. Front refit looks great, then you go through the doors and suddenly you are in a 70s motel, room was freezing, shower temp had a mind of its own (I'm defiantly awake now), breakfast was colder than the snow outside & It looks like someone had a number 2 in my kettle. It was rubbish 8 years ago when I was last here and is still rubbish now. Nice view of the bins and staff smoking area from my room though and was nice of the delivery lorry to give us a wake up call.

Fantastic Christmas break. My wife and I are very impressed with this hotel. She got us a one night stay, with dinner and breakfast, and we thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. From a beautiful, clean, warm and comfortable room to great food at dinner and breakfast, with friendly, helpful staff. The leisure area, with pool and gym, are excellent, again with friendly helpful staff. We will definitely be recommending Blackwell Grange Hotel to friends, family or anyone else for that matter.

Fine country house hotel easily accessible from the main road and set in its own grounds. Good parking in front of the house. Well appointed bars with lots of gilt framed landscapes and family portraits of the past owners. I found the pictures, busts and other displays very interesting. It looks a good place for stays, business meetings and more. Very impressed

Staff were great, very welcoming and full of information. The hotel has a lovely entrance and when I entered there was a beautiful wood burning smell coming from the wood burner . It has a stunning open staircase and full of history. Food was great , room was comfortable. To be honest I would use here time and time again. Very impressed......Thanks to all that made my stay there greatThanksMr connor
