Not a great shopping experience. I parked my car and entered the store to discover I needed a parking pass from a member of staff, which was fair enough, however there was no one around. I finally found a member of staff at the furthest point of the building, however he was with customers so I stood for quite some time until he was able to write me a slip which I then had to take back to my car, at this point I will mention that I am currently having mobility issues so by this time I wasn't in the mood for furniture shopping but never mind! I went back inside but couldn't find what I was looking for, the assistant advised me that they couldn't keep everything in stocks, which I fully appreciate but he made no attempt to find out which (if any) of their stores had the item so I could go and look so I left with nothing sadly. I think that a prestige store ought to have more than one member of staff available, potentially a large sale lost.
The happiness and excitement for my long awaited sofa & lv chair turned into upset and stress, when it eventually arrived they were not the same colour, thats ok lll be having these replaced and no doubt have another Long wait fingers crossed all with be ok this time.My dining rm furniture again Long awaited arrival, the drinks cabinet is not in great working order, waiting to hear back from manufacturers!!If you want to have stress, upset and spend your hard earned money then Barker & Stonehouse is the place to go.I was given 300 for the inconvenience caused.My family and friends who have been on this journey with me will not be frequenting Barker & Stonehouse .
Dreadful .... popped in this afternoon with a view to purchasing a new three piece suite. Not one member of staff even acknowledged me never mind ask if they could help!
The service was excellent. The delivery drivers were professional and courteous. The cabinent we ordered was assembled quickly and the quality was excellent. Very pleased!
