This a hidden gem in the side streets of Darlington. Has to be one of the best pubs around by a long way. If you like a nice beer then you'll not find better. The beer selection is excellent and the staff are extremely welcoming. The place has a great communal feel to it and I will definitely be returning.This is also a great place for bands to perform and for people to watch live music. Surprisingly they have live music on a Wednesday and what a brilliant night. Great turn out, great atmosphere, great beer. Not much more to ask for really.
A great evening drink the best real ale available in Darlington, no wonder they have won best bar repeatedly.
Lovely little pub, a bit tucked away. Can be relied upon for a very good pint and often some cracking live music!
The Quaker house is a great drinking pub. Plus it has regular live entertainment. It's a small bar but friendly, you can always strike up a conversation with someone. Terrific choice of real ale!
Best pub in Darlington, Fantastic real ale pub, numerous ales available. Incredible array of music acts on throughout the year, Blues open mic night once every month, my son's group Two Blue Band playing in September. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.Very famous music venue in the heart of Darlington. Keeping music alive. Highly recommended, all be it a very small room with ample stage space.
