Excellent well maintained Victorian public park on the River Skerne. Some great old trees, a bandstand and a large recreational area too.

Very mysteries with the mist today but still a nice walk around seeing the info on the park history. And seen this beautiful black swan on the lake
Beautiful park with amazing Sequoia/Giant Redwood trees. The lake has friendly and inquisitive swans, geese and ducks. There's also a cafe serving hot food, sandwiches, ice cream, etc., near the bowling greens. The park features an attempt at an aviary, but it's a bit neglected with few birds. All in all worth a visit.
