My husband received excellent care in A and E on 31st January 2019. All staff were caring, friendly and efficient. Their patience, tempered with good humour, is surely just what the doctor ordered!
I've been rushed into Darlington Memorial Hospital twice in the last four years and each time I was seen to immediately. The staff from all levels were fantastic and did everything to put me at ease, that is all the staff but one which I think was a sister as she was in navy blue. I put that down to the fact that she didn't like overweight people which is ironic because my weight gain is due to the fact of health and medication after effects.If you're really ill as I was I can think of no other hospital I'd rather be sent to.Oh and the food was great too.
This is my local hospital and unfortunately over the past few years Ive visited here too often due to the health of both myself and my wife. The good news is that the staff here are great and been a huge help to us both mentally, being kind and friendly and chatty, and also physically helping our conditions. The staff here can be rushed off their feet at times but always have the patience and kindness to help when you need it most which is great. Plenty of space for parking at the hospital. Id recommend you go here if you are in need.
Worse hospital going! I was sat from 12am waiting to get seen by doctor I've just finished with the doctor at half 5am now I'm stranded I can't get hold of my partner he's asleep in bed I've no money for taxi or nothing I have a learning disability moderate slow brain I never leave the house alone rarely. My mobility is good so I have to find my own way home this is hospitals words. Fuming HATE THIS HOSPITAL WITH A PASSION.
Worst hospital Ive seen been passing blood for the past 3 days I call 111 they tell me Ill get a ambulance I told them I have got a lift so I did not waste there time , once I got to the hospital I told the staff I was on the phone to 111 they told me to come straight away as a ( mater of emergency) cane in at 4 oclock its now 21.30 and still no sign of getting looked at they really need to sort this problem out as there is hardly anyone in A&E very poor from Darlington memorial hospital .
