Dont know what to say about this place other than I gave it 1 star for the fact I get a chuckle at dinner parties when I replay it back to friends, I wanted a token gift for a male colleague who had helped me save thousands, it was a diverse idea I know, but he liked flowers, I didnt want a girlie or mumsy bouquet, this shop looked well decorated and I thought Ill just try and ask if they could think of anything they could make up, the lady was excitable, saying yes it wasnt a problem, she was fluttering about talking about her excessive wine consumption the night before, and talking candidly about her back buttoned cardi that she just threw on I nodded thinking wow, what have I done here? anyway she proceeds to bring out what I can only describe as a bunch of sprayed twigs in tissue wrap and twine. Asking would this be something you had in mind? I was aghast I wanted to laugh but Im too polite, she wanted some ridiculous amount for twigs!! I made my excuses and left. She is now known in my circle of friends as elizatwigs in the back button cardi! Im sure she must have still been intoxicated to assume anyone would pay for what she produced. Certainly no artistic flair unfortunately.
I dont usually write reviews but I feel obliged to write this one. We had saved up for flowers as a gift for our terminally ill mother, we hoped when they were delivered that it would be a great surprise and make her smile, however when we saw what was delivered we were appalled at what they cost and what we received. Flowers were wrapped in so much wrapping bulking the bouquet out, the flowers were limited in arrangement something we were promised was that there would be colours and plenty of blooms, well they were muted and the same colours, the variety was non existent, it looked as though someone had quickly gone out grabbed the remainder of whats left in the bucket and stuffed it full of wrapping to make it look like a bouquet. I called the shop to complain and the lady who is the owner called Beth was so rude to me which has made me write this review. I was appalled at her couldnt care less attitude with the amount we had spent she didnt care what we received. You would get better going to the local garage for a third of the cost! Awful service ruined a special day and really awful flowers! Shame on you!
