Nice food, but not told about chargeable extras
One if mine and the wife's favourite place to eat out and also to get a takeaway delivered. Food is always top quality and reasonably priced
There is no value for money - prices are outrageous for a takeaway-style place, but could be justified if the food was really delicious. I'm afraid I've had a better moussaka as Tesco's own premium range ready meal... I at first even thought it's me being fussy, but my friend couldn't even finish her meal how bland and unimpressive it was. A big disappointment.
We just had the most incredible meal at Santorini. The veal, mushroom and truffle dish was one of the best meals weve had. We also had the chicken gyros, which was fresh and delicious, and the lamb casserole. We were welcomed as though we were family by ge most obliging and wonderful man, who turns out to be the owner and the chef. We can not recommend this restaurant highly enough.
Santorini cafe and restaurant is a hidden gem in Darlington town centre - George (owner and head chef), is hard working and very talented and a hit with the customers - I havent had a bad meal to date (and Ive tried most of the dishes now, plus Im very hard to please). Last night my family and I had Chicken Gyros, they were so lovely - tasty, fresh and authentic - three thumbs up from us . Thank you, super talented George - you know Ill be back
