Lovely cakes and coffee
Lovely choice of hone made cakes.milkshakes..smoothies....tea and coffee.... lovely friendly staff...clean and tidy.....
Very disappointed with my two slices of salted caramel chocolate cake, to pay 5 for two slices you would expect the cake to be beautiful when in fact it was extremely dry and tasteless, although I can not fault the staff they are lovely and welcoming also the shop its self was tidy and clean, just very disappointed in the cakes
Cakes looked absolutely delicious online and granted, did in the shop too however the sponge was dry despite the cakes elaborate look, we all ended up leaving half of our generous dry slices-aside that we enjoyed our time in the Cake Boutique until we came to pay. When paying we we were rudely told we were unable to spilt the bill and to sort it out between ourselves, the lady behind the counter just kept repeating the total amount after we specifically asked to pay separately. One person ended up footing the entire bill as we had no change to sort it out ourselves. Very poor customer service-we all left extremely disappointed after a trip had been made especially.
Lovely coffee shop, cakes look absolutely amazing but when enquiring about a birthday cake I thought the owner could of been more friendly..I felt like our request for a digger cake for my nephew was too much trouble. I fully appreciate this would probably be difficult to do (as we had just over a week before his birthday) but when my 6yr Nephew was stood beside me all excited and I was advised 'we dont do edible Diggers it will have to be a digger toy' (in a VERY abrupt and unfriendly manner). I would of been fine if they couldn't of made the cake due to time constraints etc but the cold response was what finished it for me. Maybe it was an off day but I left the shop and won't be returning.
